Live Sessions
Live Sessions is a project created by Alvaro Carlier, a photographer and video creator specialized in the music industry. The project was created with the aim of sharing my work, experiences, and perspective on visual content creation within the music industry through live broadcasts.
Through my Twitch and YouTube channels, I will host different live sessions where I will talk about my day-to-day work as a professional photographer and video creator, showing part of the process behind music photography and video projects. The goal is to bring audiences closer to a side of the profession that often remains behind the final image: preparation, travel, decision-making, working at concerts, editing, and everything involved in developing a professional career in this industry.
During Live Sessions, there will also be room to talk about specific experiences related to concerts, festivals, photo sessions, tours, and video productions. I will share situations I have experienced while working with artists and bands, as well as my thoughts on the profession and how my way of working has evolved over the years.
The project is not only about showing the final result of a photograph or video, but also about showing everything that happens behind the camera. I want these live sessions to offer a closer look at my work as a music photographer and video creator while also creating conversations about the industry and the different professionals who are part of it.
At specific times, Live Sessions will also feature guests directly connected to the music industry. Artists, musicians, industry professionals, and other relevant figures will join the project to share their own experiences, talk about their careers, and offer different perspectives on the world of music.
The live format will allow these conversations to be natural and interactive, giving viewers on Twitch and YouTube the opportunity to take part in the discussions and ask questions.
Live Sessions aims to become a meeting point around music photography, video production, and the music industry: a space to share experiences, explore the work behind every project, and discover the stories of the people who help bring music to life through images.
